The Project ATClusters is a project funded under the Atlantic Area INTERREG IVB Programme 2007 -2013.
The overall objective of the INTERREG IVB programme is to develop cohesive, sustainable and balanced development of the Atlantic area via transnational partnerships and the exchange of best practice and expertise.
The objective of the ATClusters Project is to explore real possibilities of transnational cooperation among clusters in the Atlantic Area, and in connecting them together in order to facilitate their development at EU and international level.
Its target is to help clusters to become more dynamic and to support their development and exchange of best practices.
The project commenced in the spring of 2009 and will continue for a period of thirty months.
The South West Regional Authority is one of six transnational partners involved in ATClusters from four Atlantic Area countries – Spain, Portugal, Brittany and Ireland.
